Pricing & Taxes

Supplies to the EU

Items sold by Inkcycle are despatched from Jersey. One reason Inkcycle prices are so low is because Jersey is outside the EU and does not charge VAT.

When goods are imported into the EU, any VAT due is payable in the EU by the importer. However, current regulations exempt VAT on importation of 'low value' items. The definition of 'low value' varies amongst EU states.


If the delivery address for your order is in the United Kingdom, all prices shown are Fully inclusive of UK VAT where applicable and all goods are in FREE CIRCULATION within the EU. No further duties or taxes are payable upon receipt of your order.

UK Companies or individuals registered for VAT, are able to reclaim VAT. The amount of VAT paid is marked on the package label.

VAT & other Sales Taxes outside the UK

For all deliveries outside the UK, which are not of 'low value' (see above), you may be asked to pay Sales Taxes at the prevailing rate within the country of delivery. When applicable, these taxes will be charged on top of the price paid to us, and is usually collected by your Post Office when your goods are delivered to you.


How & to where do you deliver?

We ship everything by 1st Class Post to all EU countries.

How much is postage and packaging?

As if offering high-quality products at low, VAT free prices wasn’t enough, we also deliver within the UK absolutely FREE. Just take a look at the rates below:

UK - FREE Postage & Packaging on orders over £10 (£1.99 on orders under £10)

All other Europe Union countries, £5.99

Your order may be split in to several smaller parcels and not always delivered on the same day.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery to the UK can take as little as one or two days. Delivery to other EU countries takes a few days longer. If we receive your order before 14.30 (GMT/BST) on weekdays, then subject to availability, we will ship your goods to you the same day. Please note that our "pick rate" from stock is close to 100%.

Occasionally, there are delays within the postal system. Although delays are rare, please allow 15 days (UK) and 30 days (EU) for your order to arrive, particularly during the peak periods around Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays. Unfortunately, we cannot start tracking parcels until this time has elapsed.

If you do not receive your goods within the time-scales above, please contact us. Over 70% of parcels presumed lost, are often just waiting to be collected from a neighbour or your local mail sorting office, so please check first. Compensation is limited to the cost of the goods ordered and will take the form of a replacement or a refund.

What if I’m not at home for delivery?

Simply select to have your order shipped to your work place, a neighbour or a friends house. We often split orders into several packages so they will each fit through a letterbox, but if your postman is unable to deliver your order they will notify you by placing a card through your letterbox telling you how to rearrange delivery.

How do I track my order?

We automatically send an e-mail to the address you submitted when you placed your order:

a. When we receive your order.

b. As soon as your order has been despatched.

If you are an existing customer, you may also login to your account using your email address and password to track the progress of your order.

Guarantees, Refunds & Exchanges

Can I return faulty goods for a refund or an exchange?

Yes, of course. When it comes to guarantees, we insist that we should take the risk not you – that’s why everything you order is ‘Guaranteed Forever’.

Our guarantee is straightforward – it simply says:

“If anything you buy from us develops a defect at any time, return it FREEPOST and we will refund your full purchase price. If we charged you for delivery, we’ll refund that too.”

You could call it a lifetime guarantee, either way it’s Guaranteed Forever.

Can I return unwanted goods for a refund or an exchange?

We’ve all made mistakes. If you order an incorrect item or no longer require it, we will be happy to exchange or make a refund within 30 days of purchase. All we ask is that the item is returned in resaleable condition with the packaging unopened.

How do I organise a return?

We’ve made it quick and easy for you to arrange the return of faulty or unwanted items. Just click on the link below and we will generate a Return Authorisation Number for you in seconds.


Please Note: All returns must be pre-authorised by Inkcycle, sent to the address we give to you and accompanied with a Return Authorisation Number which we will generate for you. Packages returned without this number clearly written on the package or sent to the incorrect address will be refused.

We recommend that you ask your Post Office for a Proof of Posting certificate as we cannot be held liable for items that are lost in the post.

Price Promise

Our aim is to save you money and keep you as a customer for life. In order to do this we need to know if we are losing our competitive edge.

If you should find the same product cheaper, in stock and priced in sterling at a competing retailer within seven days of placing your order with us, we will refund you 'Double For Your Trouble' just for letting us know.

Yes, we’ll refund twice the difference between the price you paid us and the competitor’s retail price taking delivery charges into account.

How to Claim.

If you have found the product cheaper elsewhere, you’ll need to provide us with the following information by email to ensure swift processing of your claim.

Your name, address, email address and telephone number.
Your Inkcycle order number or invoice number.
The price you have found the product advertised for elsewhere.
Details of the product in question, including our reference number.
Details of any printed advertisement (page, date and title of publication).
The name of competing retailer.
The website address of the competing retailer (if applicable).
The postal address of the competing retailer including telephone number.

Price Promise Terms and Conditions:

Competitors must be legitimate, with a physical contact address clearly displayed on their web site, sales literature or store.

The identical product must be in stock and available for immediate despatch by 1st class post with free delivery or delivery included in the price being compared.

A competitor's price must be freely available to all customers regardless of status and not limited by the quantity purchased.
